Ball Designs 1: J + K

1 of 3: from my manga Oni Tenshi

This is a redesign from when I did these back in 2003. And trust me, the designs/style/proportions/artwork REALLY needed a better update... My characters are undercover at a ritzy Ball to find a murderous demon and have to blend in.

So here's Jenka and Kenji who were forced to go to the Ball as a couple. I slightly altered Jenka's old dress design by making it less busy in the straps. I wanted something to show off her scar on her back even though she's not too happy with revealing it. Kenji's design was the same, just in my updated style. ^.^

In this part of the arc we learn that Kenji is quite the formal gentleman that blows everyone -especially Jenka- away. Who would've though someone like him knew etiquette and formal mannerisms. Hell, we even learn he knows how to dance! Poor Jenka.... she doesn't even know any of that especially dancing.

Again... the scanner makes Jenka's hair looks blue. >.< It's aquamarine! AQUAMARINE!! It's got that sea foam green tint to it. TT.TT
