"On the SECOND day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... 2 soaring Ka."
Just in time!! Well, now we're on day 2 of the project and this time we're taking a trip to one of my all time favorite places... Egypt!!
We have my 2 ~Adduen vampires Canaan and Siwa featured in this one with the ever famous Pyramids of Giza behind them. The "2 soaring Ka" represent what the ancient Egyptians believed in when entering the Afterlife. They believed each person had 2 souls or "Ka" as they called it; one soul in life, and the other in death to be judged.
The cat I originally drew for fun, but I kept it when my room mate said it was cute and looked like a good Egyptian cat. Plus Siwa is an animal lover so it fits even better. ^w^
